When author Laura Casanovas approached us with her vision of launching a literature blog to share books and literary quotes with fellow reading enthusiasts, we immediately set to work designing and developing a beautiful, elegant, and functional platform. The result is "Anem Llegint!" (Let's Read!).
The blog has been a remarkable success, receiving thousands of visits and attracting over a hundred subscribers. It serves as a window to the world, creating a space where readers can come together to share their passion for literature.
How We Built the Blog
We chose WordPress as our foundation to streamline the article creation and editing process for the author. Initially, we developed a simplified custom platform for content creation, but we quickly transitioned to WordPress, which offered a more robust and user-friendly system that was easier to implement and maintain. Following the initial launch, we enhanced the blog with several additional features:
- Visit tracking – To monitor engagement and growth.
- Newsletter subscription– To build a dedicated community of readers.

We have discovered that sometimes there's no need to reinvent the wheel to achieve excellent results. Choosing to work with an established platform that is recognized and used by millions of people worldwide, rather than developing our own proprietary content management system from scratch, has saved us countless hours of development time and resources.
